Hello everyone
I'am looking for other Tea lovers to talk about your all-time favourite tea (or teas you like/dislike) and all about tea.
Beside fizzy water (my favourite drink), tea is the second drink i consume. (Three liter a day +/-)
There's no tea i absolutely love - i haven't found my favourite tea yet. .___. But i enjoy - and love too - teas with lemon flavour. Or other lemon-ingredients (aroma, lemon balm, lemon-scented teatree and so).
I drink every kind of tea: black, green, white, fruit, herbal, spice. I really like to make "Abloom tea" and to see how wonderful the blooms coming out.
But i never sampled gunpowder tea. o_o"
So, i own 59 different tea sorts from 16 different companies. (Actual 64 sorts, but that's gifts i wouldn't exchange)
And that's the next point: I do "Tea trade" with some of my german speaking friends and i like to try new tea sorts. If someone interested in trading tea? While my list is only in german, i can't post them, but i will translate the list into english asap. (I change 1 teabag for another 1 teabag) I have lots of teas with lemon flavour (and ginger) or christmas teas. Mostly from "TeaGschwendner".
So that's all from me now, hope to hear from other tea addicts.

i love tea, but mostly sweet tea from the good ol south...hahaha
they have a store called teavana in my local mall, i love going there and trying the tea's, but its so freaking expensive, i mean like 20 bucks to make a few cups, so i never buy anything
What kind of tea do you like the most? Do you have a favourite tea?
I checked out the homepage of teavana. The teas are looking really wonderful and interesting. But the prices - your right. They're are expensive - but i would buy tea from this company if i had the money. Maybe i could try it this summer and maybe, when you're interesting i send you a little bit of the tea. g I get 100-500g loose tea for 2-10€ in Köln (Cologne) or in the city center of my hometown. And i can make around 7+ liter of tea from one package. Teabags costs around 0,85Cent till 4€ - with 20-35 teabags inside. Do you have a favourite sweet tea?

Well I really like fruit teas, but it depends on which flavour for me to decide if I have it hot or on ice I usually like most flavours from a company called Celestial Seasonings, they're predone sachets The Sugar Plum is amazing though And I really like black teas too :) And raspberry then peach are my favorites for iced tea :D
I love tea. Adagio Teas is my go-to place, really. Their Black Hibiscus is absolutely lovely. I liked it even more than the Vanilla Rooibos.
Ohhh tea. I love tea. Right now I have some Pu'er and Japanese green tea in the shelf. The Pu'er was an interesting experience - the house smelled like a henhouse after I brewed the tea! The smell was really strong until the fourth steeping. It's probably a great tea for camping, and I'm going to try that this summer. :) I can just imagine an early morning, steam rising from the kettle, and the faint smell of the pu'er circling in the air... ah.
The Japanese tea is a bit of a mystery - the label says it's a "health tea" and a bit of its history, but not much else. I really like it, it's pretty fresh, but I can't drink it more than once a day at most, because apparently it's so healthy that I start to feel sick. I had a few days when I felt like that and then I realized it's the tea, I'd drunk two or three cups a day. D:
My morning tea favourite is Paradise, which is "spiced with passion, kiwi fruit, pineapple and flowers of rose". It's pretty mild, but if you let it steep longer than it should, the taste turns into something like... fudge. And now I want it so bad that I absolutely have to go make breakfast. XD
Im a fan of green tea myself^^ but to be honest, Im never fussy on what brand I buy or anything as long as its a Japanese packed one xD. about pu'er though, I have them at home as well along with a lot of those chinese tea. we normally serve guests with chinese tea here since its something easier to handle ^-^v ( Im chinese by the way, but Im a Malaysian ^^- complicated history of nationality hahaha)
I wouldnt mind sending you some tea but Ive no idea what would be special from our country to be honest. We have all kinds of tea since we have Chinese in the country a well as some tea plantation in Cameron Highlands =o BOH tea ithink was the name x-x;
I'm sure i wouldn't mind what should be acceptable for you, when you would be really trade tea with me. But here in german the people living around the North Sea (East Frisia or Eastern Friesland) drinking the most tea of all germans. The "East Frisian Tea" is mixed of different black tea sorts. Here are some infos in english: East Frisian Tea Culture East Frisian Tea Culture
I have one tea from a friend of the german company called "Bünting (Buenting)". It's one of the three great companies around the North Sea. And i own a tea with Popcorn flavour. (That's not much, cause he's expensive but i would be willing to trade him, if you interested) I would make a list tomorrow with my teas and post them here. Maybe you find something you'd like.

Ohhh I love tea! I drink plenty of it every day. ^^ I love pretty much all black tea (especially assam and royal), white tea (especially white peony), oolong, and green tea (especially houjicha and matcha). I also really love rooibos, lemon, and ginger teas. :D The only tea I don't really like is most fruit teas. I often get my tea from lupicia. Some of their teas are really expensive, but I think many are reasonably priced if you buy the loose leaf packages. :) Blooming tea is so pretty. I wish I could use it all the time. @@
I love tea. c: I tend to drink a few cups every day, although I know I shouldn't. :p I normally drink a regular brand my Gran buys and add a little bit of milk. I do occasionally have black tea, and I have green tea bags in my room because nobody else in my family can stand it, hehe. I really want to try herbal teas, and tonnes of fruit teas because I have a sweet tooth... even though I've never had sugar in my tea, haha. I'm not fond of Earl Grey, though. When I tried that, the scent was so strong that it made me lightheaded... which sounds like just about the most lame thing ever. Pollen and the scent of Earl Grey, my two weaknesses!
There's a stall in the middle of my local shopping centre that just sells dozens of types of tea from around the world, and allows you to sample them. I've been too shy to go up thus far, but I really really want to!

Mm, I love tea! n__n I'm not a great fan of fruit tea, though... and I've got to say, I hate lapsang souchong. Might be I brew it for too long but I find the smokiness overwhelming. To me it just tastes like my tea leaves are burnt.

Green tea and Oolong tea are both pretty nice! I haven't tried many fruit teas, since their taste is usually pretty heavy, but if there is a relatively mellow fruit tea, I would like to try it. :)
I don't think I've ever tried oolong. I'll have to see if we have any. We've got so many varieties that I tend to pick a favourite, stick with it for a few weeks and then repeat the process. Means I miss out on quite a lot. xD
As for green tea, I'm a big fan and I definitely prefer it over (most) black tea. I find fruit-flavoured green tea is quite mild, , but I don't think they're generally considered legitimate fruit tea. I'd recommend Twinings' pineapple and grapefruit green tea, if you can get hold of it. It's loooovely...

Damn, i haven't complete the translation of my tea list. But they will follow asap. I'm sorry. Too much to translate. xx"
Ohhh~ I like Twining's pineapple and grapefruit Green Tea too. - I had one package left. But the Lemon & Ginger ones was my favourite sort and then orange & lotus flower Green Tea. Do you know them/try them too?

Oh boy, yes! Mmmm, I pretty much love all of Twinings' green tea flavours. xD I usually only have the lemon and ginger tea when I'm ill, though.

What's the name of the brand you got from your Gran? Herbal Tea is very tasty - as long as you don't drink Herbal Tea from the german brand called "Meßmer". Always when i drink Herbal Tea from this company, it taste like a carpet! Yeah, like a carpet! You know? When i was younger i always played with my wooden train set, lying down on the carpet. When i feel asleep, i got the carpet fuzz' in my mouth. And the smell of the carpet is the same as from this damn Herbal Tea! So it's called "Carpet-Tea" by me. laugh But i drink the brand in restaurants - it seems i feel nostalgic then. laugh
I only get the teas i wrote above, when i come to Cologne of Twinings. But when i'am out next month with my sister, i hope they had some other sorts.
Pfff~
I’am sorry for taking so long, but my list wasn’t easily to translate. Whatever.
If someone interested in one or more teas for trading, ask me. You can ask me for the flavour too – but I haven’t try all sorts, but near the half. ^-^
And if you stumble over teas marked with „(June 2013)“, don’t wonder – teas they best before this year are all marked. All other teas best before 2014 and 2015.
Total count of different Tea sorts: 72 (The correct number is actually 76, but the other sorts was gifts and I don’t trade them)

I'm drinking matcha for the first time right now, and to be honest it smells like a vihta. Yes, "a kind of whip made of birch twigs and used in the sauna to enhance the effect of heat by beating oneself with it", as Wiktionary puts it. The smell is good but a bit distracting as I'm not used to DRINKING my vihta. :D I'm not sure how I feel about the taste yet.
I'm so excited about this new shop in the city, they sell all kinds of foreign food, there's also a huge shelf full of tea... I went there on Monday and I was just like "TAKE ALL MY MONEY!" D: Going to buy so many things from there in the future! :D
